Department of Environmental Studies of Shree Agrasen Mahavidyalaya has started its journey with the very establishment of the institution on the 1^st of September, 1995. Presently the department has one State Aided College Teacher Sri Kalipada Roy.

The faculty member is always ready to render all possible assistance and guidance to students within and outside the campus as and when required. Consequently students get through the final examination with flying colours every year and go for further higher studies.

There is adequate number of books in the library relevant to the syllabus.

Future Planning:

• Department has a plan to establish a departmental library.
• To increase awareness about Environment among the students by taking some social awareness programme.
