A Career Counselling Cell in a college is a dedicated unit or department that focuses on providing guidance and support to students in making informed decisions about their academic and professional paths. The primary objective of such a cell is to assist students in understanding their interests, skills, and aspirations, and aligning them with suitable career options. Objectives of the Career Counselling Cell are:

Career Guidance:

Offering personalized career counselling sessions to help students explore various career options based on their interests, aptitudes, and academic strengths.


Personality and Aptitude Assessments:

Conducting assessments to evaluate students’ personalities, strengths, and aptitudes, which can contribute to making informed career choices.


Information on Courses and Specializations:

Providing information about different academic courses, specializations, and career paths available both within and outside the college.


Interview Preparation:

Assisting students in building effective resumes and preparing for job interviews, including guidance on soft skills and professional etiquette.


Psychological Support:

Providing psychological support and counseling to address any concerns or challenges students may face in their academic or career pursuits.


Remedial Coaching:

Remedial Coaching for Students belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minorities/ Financially/ Constrained /BPL categories in both the Honours and General Subjects. Students of the general category who are academically poor and financially constrained are also provided these special remedial classes.


Coaching for Entry in Service:

For 3rd Year/PG Students and Ex-students of the college belonging to SC /ST /OBC /Minorities /Financially Constrained /BPL categories.
