Student Union

The Students Union of the College, was established in 2004 with all regular students as members of the general body of the Union. The basic objective and motto of the Students Union is to work for the welfare of the students and to maintain a completely educational and a healthy environment for the students. The office-bearers of the Union are elected every year by the eligible voters from amongst the students. The Principal is the ex-officio President of the Students Union. With the co-operation of the Principal and the teachers, the students’ representative body namely the Student’s Union is functional in hosting and organizing different events and college activities like Freshers’ Welcome , INDEPENDENCE DAY celebration, Annual College Social, FAREWELL AND SPORTS as well as Cultural Competitions in the college. The Constitution of the union reflects the democratic spirit and disciplined conduct expected of a proud member associated with the College. The objectives of constitution is to encourage healthy academic life in the college and stimulate the spirit of co-operative activities and social service among the students, and to promote discipline, sense of responsibility, social harmony, integrity and fraternity among the students. The primary responsibility of the Union is to ensure that the focus of the student community remains on the path of excellence in higher education.
